Fundraising Business.. How and Why

Because I know about the Goodness of the Lord and the ways in which He provides. I have chosen several fundraisers in which I am praying over and seeking after full heartily.

• -Odd jobs I am hoping to find

A friend of mine from Super Summer (one of the church camps I volunteer at) told me about Razoo fundraising. This is my main method of raising funds for my Walkabout because it is a way to donate to a nonprofit organization, like the one I am entering this program with - Camp Eagle. The donating person is also able to write this donation off on their taxes. The reason I have selected this method as my main means is because I know that the Lord can bless me if I seek after those He has led me to ask. What I personally chose to do was contact 100 specific people in my life in request for $50 each. Some of you may think this is very bold... and you are very correct. :) I apologize to those of which may be offended by this request, but the Lord has called me to serve and I humbly ask those who I was led to ask. BUT because some of these requests will not be granted, I have also chosen to use my source of social media to reach out to friends who choose to give financially and prayerfully without the request! Throughout setting up this whole account with Razoo, the Lord has begun to show me the hearts of many of my friends. Those who have chosen to give out of the kindness of their hearts... Garage sale???? Yes these still work... a little! This is why I have chosen this method of fundraising after my main fundraiser. I have so much "worldly junk" that I couldn't help but decide to get rid of it. I am seeking two methods to this madness. I have a ton of clothes, that are in great condition... but I have not worn these clothes in over a year and definitely will not be wearing them in the wilderness! So, I have contacted a second hand clothing store in San Angelo that will be accepting some of my clothes... With my clothes they will sale them at their price and I will be given a percentage of that price! With the remaining clothes and other goodies that I intend to sale, I will be holding a garage sale or driveway sale for those who would like it to be called the right name! If any of you have clothes or items you would like to donate to my garage sale - please let me know! I will gladly come and pick those items up! I am hoping to make $100- $200 off of this garage sale event. This money will go towards my overall expenses, not anticipated in the $5000 I am already prayerfully raising.

And of course I am looking for odd jobs anywhere and everywhere! Cleaning houses, cleaning lawns, babysitting, house sitting, dog sitting... You name it... I will do it! Haha if you know me well... you know I have done many odd jobs in the past!! One thing I chose to do is move in with my dad for these two summer months while I am fundraising. This allows me to save money on rent and food, while being available to many opportunities. So, if you are in San Angelo and have an odd job for me... contact me!!!
